  • BC Parks Foundation

    BC Parks Foundation

I am supporting this important Foundation as we need to become guardians of the earth. With global warming & over population, I believe in helping to preserve our very precious parks for all species and our children.

  • A Darwinian Theory of Beauty, by Dr. Dennis Dutton

One of my all time favorite Ted talks. Dr. Dennis Dutton illustrates how humans are hard wired to be attracted to beauty and what it means for survival. Not just physical, but emotional and spiritual survival. Very interesting indeed. Approximately 15 minutes long and a very worthwhile use of your time.

  • Nature, Beauty & Gratitude

A wonderful and enlightening extension to Dr. Dutton's presentation. Louie elegantly articulates how beauty connects us to the world. A great 10 minute presentation.

  • Why Beauty Matters, by Roger Scruton

This is another personal view of art and beauty. Philosopher and writer, Roger Scruton comments on the disintegration of society as we negate the value of beauty in the 20th-21st century. Very interesting, as it connects spirituality, humility and caring with the aesthetics of beauty and meaning.

  • David Hockey on Van Gogh
