This set is a whimsical narrative on my walks experiencing strong summer light in local parks. The tonal changes are very high contrast, from sunlight to shadow and offer a unique opportunity to "stage" characters in a dynamic way. These drying shards of plants seem to emerge from the background. I had fun with the palette, choosing a unique combination of blue gray overall, accented by yellow, orange, red and brown.....its unique!
