This was actually the first venture into my new painting series and new techniques! From this adventure came all the other paintings. The predominant color is Raw Umber, again a very ancient earth pigment. It was truly wonderful to "wipe out" a full, lush range of tones. The orange plants and blue shadow accents, add just enough complexity to finish the story.
